Prader Willi Syndrome

New Directions is a specialist provider for adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome. New Directions currently runs four residential services, one of which was opened on 1st September this year.

We are specialist homes and do not cater for residents who do not have the syndrome,  All homes are small in size and cater for seven, eight, six and four residents respectively.

All service users have individual care plans with goals and targets. There are integrated day services, some of which are on-site others in the community but supported by the home staff. Staff training is of paramount importance, and regular sessions are held covering all aspects of care including training in the syndrome.
