Bishops Way
High fives to Simon E from Bishops Way, who won the Name The Game Quiz single handedly at Gateway Club on Thursday evening. Way to go Simon!!!
Welcome to our other Simon J (confused, we will be….) the newest addition to the staff team. Simon has worked in care for several years but this is his first experience of PWS. He has been with us just over a week now and he says he is really enjoying the experience.
Jenny and Grant from Bishops Way completed their Collage and 3D Arts course at Hastings College last month and produced some very impressive works of art.
Lydia has been working so well Numeracy and Literacy that the facilitators requested she continue to attend, even though the term has ended as she is such a dab hand at ‘hangman’ and keeps them all on their mettle.
Last week Bishops Way had a Day Services outing to Canterbury, where everyone experienced the Canterbury Tales exhibition. Unfortunately it was not possible to go into the Cathedral on this occasion, maybe next time. All enjoyed their packed lunch picnic and came back suitably tired. A big thanks to Jane, Leigh and Gem for their support on the day.
Bishops Croft
Ian, Steven, and Gregg from Bishops Croft all went to the War and Peace show and obviously had an amazing time - they all came back wearing full combat gear!
Bishops Lodge
2 members of staff from Bishops Lodge got married recently, congratulations to Jo and Kate and their new husbands!
There is another Charity Car Wash coming up 12th September, 9am-1-30. BBQ to follow! Hopefully the service users will enjoy themselves once again and it will be another success! To be held at Bishops Lodge.
